Working together as a school and with outside clubs and groups is crucial to our success as an Active School.
Our school community has worked together to agree on our Active School slogan which is
“We Are Active, We Are Fit, We Don’t Sit, ‘Cos We Don’t Quit!! “
Our school has established an Active Schools' Committee comprised of staff and pupils. Our members have many and varied roles including acting as playground leaders, managing equipment, organising and facilitating Active School Flag Activities and Events including Active School Week, carrying out surveys etc.
Our senior pupils have conducted a "What club are you in?" survey to highlight and promote physical opportunities in our area.
Our school acknowledges and praises physical activity effort and success both inside and outside of school. This effort is acknowledged by classroom visits and at our regular Assemblies.
We distributed an ASF questionnaire for pupils, discussed the feedback and implemented changes in response. We also distributed an ASF questionnaire for parents, discussed the feedback and implemented changes in response.
