Planet Pals
Hello we are the Green Schools & Committee and we are here to promote Planet pals. & Planet pals are here to make a difference to our planet which is constantly changing. In order to raise awareness they are hosting an art competition & for all classes and & a paragraph competition for classes over 3rd class & for right here in Ballon N.S. That includes ways to save electricity. It`s called the Energy Challenge .
- Switch off lights when not in use.
- Play outside instead of watching television.
- Walk/cycle to school.
- Dry clothes outdoors rather than in the dryer.
The people that created planet pals are 3 girls from Saint Leo’s secondary school in Carlow town. They came and spoke to us about what they have done to make energy saving fun for example all the 3rd and 4th class had lots of fun dancing to songs in a big flash mob in the hall today.
